The Islamic University of Gaza
(IUG)- Palestine has taken several steps towards strengthening its
capacities in networking with Academic institutions worldwide. Currently,IUG focuses
on building outstanding relationships and strong partnerships with regional and
international research bodies such as academic institutions and
well-established NGOs to lay grounds for nurturing innovative ideas and develop
sound proposals for the giant European research and development projects such
as Erasmus +.
The EU commission has recently published the new call for proposals under E+
programme and acknowledge the international dimenssion for the programme three

In barallel, the ministry of
higher Education in Palestine has announced the national priorities to
participate in ERASMUS + KA2- CAPACITY BUILDING FOR HIGHER EDUCATION: http://exrelation.iugaza.edu.ps/Pages_Documents/Palestine%20National%20Priorities.pdf
Under these priorities, IUG staff
has develop concept papers as a potential for E+KA2 projects; titles of these
concepts are:

1. Development of Research Infrastructures
and Institutionalization of Research Culture and environment at HEIs of Gaza. |

2. Enhancing University-based
Incubators as a Hub for the Knowledge Triangle in |
|
3. BTI Centre for Innovation Excellence |
Currently IUG is engaged in 19
EU-funded: 11 multilateral projects under TEMPUS, ERASMUS MUNDUS and FP7
programmes and 8 bilateral projects under ALMqdisi programme & Researching
Multilingually AHRC Translating Cultures programme and Appear. This engagement
resulted in partnership with 147 universities & research centers from
30 countries.
IUG will be very grateful to you
if you can help in developing the cooperation between IUG and your institution.

jointly identify cooperation opportunities and discuss joint concepts in order
to apply for Erasmus+.
