I would like to inform you that The
Onassis Lecture Series in Biology
for 2012 is devoted to the topic of : “A WORLD OF RNAs”.
Lecturers are: Venkatraman
(Venki) Ramakrishnan (Medical Research Counsil, London, UK), Nobel Prize (2009), Julie Cooper
(Cancer Research, Cambridge, UK), Mark A. Lindsay (University of Bath, UK),
Joachim Lingner (Ecole Polytechnique, Lauzanne, CH), Marina Rodnina (Max Planck
Institute for Biophysical Chemistry, Gottingen, DE), Gary Ruvkun (Harvard
Medical School, Boston, USA), Eric Westhof (Institut de Biologie Moleculaire et
Cellulaire, Strasbourg, FR).
The
Onassis Foundation provides financial supports up to 35 Greeks and up to 15
International qualified students (post Graduate and advanced Undergraduate
level) for their travel and local expenses.
