The Onassis
Foundation, within the framework of its Program for the financial
support of Greek Chairs in Universities abroad, has been funding the
instruction of Ancient Greek, Modern Greek and Ancient Greek
Philosophy at Bogazici University,
Turkey, since the academic year 1995-1996.
The Foundation has also been funding the instruction of Byzantine
History since the academic year 2002-2003, as well as the instruction
of Modern Greek and Balkan History since the academic year 2003-2004. In 2010,
the Onassis Foundation decided to fund two more teaching positions
for the needs of the University's department of History. The two
positions refer to the instruction of Ancient Greek History and/or
Classical Archaeology and to the instruction of Ancient and Modern
Greek Language (this position will be complementary to the one
already existing).
This announcement refers to
the continuation of the funding of the teaching position for the
instruction of Ancient Greek History and/or Classical Archaeology for
the academic year 2013-2014.
All interested parties should
submit their detailed academic credentials until April 15th 2013.
Classes for the instructor that
will ultimately be chosen for the position described above will begin
in September 2013.

Το Ίδρυμα Ωνάση, στο πλαίσιο του
Προγράμματος για την οικονομική ενίσχυση των ελληνικών σπουδών σε
Πανεπιστήμια του εξωτερικού, χρηματοδοτεί τη διδασκαλία των Αρχαίων,
των Νέων Ελληνικών και της Αρχαίας Ελληνικής Φιλοσοφίας στο Πανεπιστήμιο Bogazici
της Τουρκίας, από το ακαδημαϊκό έτος
1995-1996. Το Ίδρυμα επίσης χρηματοδοτεί τη διδασκαλία της Βυζαντινής
Ιστορίας από το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2002-2003, καθώς και τη διδασκαλία
της Νέας Ελληνικής και Βαλκανικής Ιστορίας από το ακαδημαϊκό έτος
2003-2004. Το 2010, το Ίδρυμα Ωνάση αποφάσισε να χρηματοδοτήσει δύο
θέσεις διδασκαλίας για τις ανάγκες του τμήματος Ιστορίας του Πανεπιστημίου.
Οι δύο θέσεις αφορούν στη διδασκαλία της Αρχαίας Ελληνικής Ιστορίας
ή/και της Κλασικής Αρχαιολογίας και στη διδασκαλία της Αρχαίας
και Νέας Ελληνικής Γλώσσας (η θέση αυτή θα συμπληρώνει την ήδη
υπάρχουσα).
Η παρούσα ανακοίνωση αφορά στη
συνέχιση της χρηματοδότησης της θέσης για τη διδασκαλία της Αρχαίας
Ελληνικής Ιστορίας και / ή της Κλασικής Αρχαιολογίας για το
ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2013-2014.
Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι θα πρέπει να υποβάλουν λεπτομερή φάκελο με τα
ακαδημαϊκά διαπιστευτήρια τους μέχρι τις 15 Απριλίου 2013.
Τα μαθήματα για τον καθηγητή που τελικά θα
επιλεγεί για τη θέση που περιγράφεται παραπάνω, θα ξεκινήσουν τον
Σεπτέμβριο του 2013.
