There are less than three weeks left to apply for the 2018 Humanity in Action Fellowships for students and recent graduates from Greece! We kindly ask you to help us spread the word by sharing our Call for Applications with your students, colleagues, and contacts. The costs of participation in the Fellowships are fully covered. The participation of Greek Fellows in Humanity in Action Programs internationally is generously supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

·  Humanity in Action's 2018 European Fellowships - Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen and Warsaw - will take place from June 8 to July 8, 2018.

·  For Greek Fellows, our 2018 US-based Fellowships begin with our 9th International Conference in Strasbourg, France from July 5 to 8, 2018. The Fellowships in Detroitand Atlanta run from July 10 to August 5, 2018.

Intensive and demanding, the Humanity in Action Fellowships bring together international groups of change-makers to explore national histories of discrimination and resistance as well as examples of issues affecting different minority groups today. The Fellowships seek to educateconnect and inspire future leaders in the fields of human rights and social justice.

Humanity in Action will select university students and recent graduates from Greece who are mature, proactive, self-reliant, and comfortable in intensive group activity and interaction. Humanity in Action seeks candidates who are eager to stretch their understanding of the programs' issues beyond their own national contexts and specific fields of study. Students and recent graduates of all majors and academic disciplines are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in English is required.

The deadline to apply is February 18, 2018.

Humanity in Action's Mission and Network

The Humanity in Action Fellowship programs seek to educate, connect and inspire emerging and established human rights leaders active in the broadest range of fields – government and diplomacy, journalism, entrepreneurship and trade, grassroots activism, academia, culture, and the arts.

Upon successful completion of our programs, Fellows complete an Action Project in their own communities and join the global network of over 1,700 Humanity in Action Senior Fellows. As Senior Fellows, they are eligible for advanced professional, educational, and financial opportunities, such as fellowships in the United States Congress or the European Parliamenthuman rights-related study trips, conferences in Europe and the US, and grants to translate their own ideas for societal progress into reality.

Please share this Call for Applications widely with your friends, colleagues, and contacts. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to email us at germany@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

We thank you for your support in sharing the news of our 2018 Humanity in Action Fellowships! Together we can find and empower tomorrow's leaders for human rights, active citizenship, and social justice.

Cordially,
Antje Scheidler
