Greetings from Georgia! I hope this email finds you well in good health and your country swiftly recovers from the physical and material loss associated with the current pandemic situation across the globe.

 

I am writing to keep you updated with the 5th International Conference on the Actual Economic and Social Problems in Modern Globalization, which will take place on September 26-27, 2020.

 

If the state of the worldwide crisis improves, the conference will be held at European University, Tbilisi, Georgia.

 

However, if the epidemiological situation does not allow us to host you in our country, the conference will be held remotely. 

We have successfully adapted to online platforms and our team is able to run a great online conference.

We will have the specified information regarding the venue of the conference in early September, 2020.

 

I am also writing to inform you that our conference gives you a great opportunity to publish your paper in the Refereed and Peer-Reviewed International-Scientific Practical Journal "Globalization and Business", which is indexed in international scientific bases such as: EBSCO, Oaji, Sis, Google Scholar and Index Copernicus. 

A number of papers from the Conference will be selected by the journal editor(s) for reworking and revising, in line with normal processes of review.

 

The abstract submission deadline is 31 May, 2020.

We last met at the EFMD conference in Italy, Milan – now, sadly, the epicenter of the pandemic.

I wish we could switch back to the usual way of life and academic gatherings like this in the near future, and hopefully the world swiftly recovers from the physical and material loss associated with the Coronavirus.

Georgia is in its first week of lock-down, yet the preventive measures had been taken already two weeks before and we’ve been following the social distancing rules, and working from the distance.
