The Hellenic Diaspora Academic Association (HDAA), launched by Hosts and Fellows from the Greek Diaspora Fellowship Program (GDFP), is a global organization connecting scholars in Greece with members of the Greek and Cypriot academic Diaspora. Its mission is to provide pathways to scholarly excellence through collaboration for knowledge creation and dissemination, research, education, and mentorship. The Greek Diaspora Fellowship Program (GDFP) is a scholar exchange program for Greek universities to host Greek scholars from the diaspora in the areas of collaborative research, curriculum co-development and/or graduate/undergraduate student mentoring and teaching. The GDFP is funded by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) to the Institute of International Education (IIE). The program is administered in collaboration with the Fulbright Foundation in Greece.
