Participants present pivotal research papers, receive structured peer feedback, and showcase contributions across the TALOS research spectrum. These meetings aim to foster dialogue, encourage collaboration, and provide a safe, constructive space for refining scholarly work. Invited Talk 🔹Keynote Presentation by Assistant Professor Antonios Angelakis Title: Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Technology Transfer and Innovation: From Ideas to Market and Society 🕒 Time: 17:30-18:30 Abstract: Technology transfer is essential for turning ground-breaking research into innovation with real-world impact. The seminar will provide valuable insights on topics related to strategic management of Intellectual Property Rights, technology transfer, innovation management and research exploitation. The seminar will also provide detailed information on distinct categories and types of technology transfer and innovation processes. Concurrently, a major part of the seminar involves the up close view and understanding of the innovation value chain, in congruence to a special emphasis given to emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, open innovation typologies and innovation policies. Participants will gain practical knowledge on strategically managing science-based research results, deriving from Universities and research organisations, across commercial pathways and towards the marketplace and societal challenges.
