As announced during the meeting in Marseille, we are pleased to share with you more information about the three upcoming back-to-back Study in Europe events, taking place in Chișinău, Moldova this spring. The dates are now confirmed in May (4-6) and you will find below some more details about the different events. We kindly ask your support to disseminate information with Higher Education Institutions in your respective countries for the Contact-Building Seminar and the Student Fair. EU Policy event – 4 May 2026 Organiser, as part of the Study in Europe initiative: Harno Contact: eero.loonurm@xxxxxxxx Event focus: this half-day hybrid event aims to raise awareness of ongoing policy developments, foster mutual learning, and support alignment with the European Education Area. The event will provide a platform to present and discuss EU higher education policy initiatives and achievements in the field of quality assurance. Target audience: the event is intended for higher education institution representatives and professionals working in quality assurance. While this event will bring together policymakers and practitioners, particularly from Moldova and other Eastern neighborhood countries (tbc), representatives from Erasmus+ programme countries are also welcome to participate, subject to interest and availability. Please note that registration will open latest in March. Contact-Building Seminar – 5 May 2026 Organiser, as part of the Study in Europe initiative: Campus France Contact: Isabelle.Devylder@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; studyineurope@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Event focus: this one-day hybrid event supports the development of new partnerships between higher education institutions from Erasmus+ programme countries and from Moldova and other Neighborhood East countries, particularly through Erasmus+ actions including International Credit Mobility (ICM), Erasmus Mundus (EM), and Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE). The event will include plenary sessions, followed by bilateral matchmaking sessions. Target audience: the event is aimed primarily at higher education institutions' representatives, specifically for staff from international relations offices, and academic or teaching staff who have an institutional mandate to explore international partnerships. Interested National Agencies are also invited to submit an _expression_ of Interest. Application: Interested institutions are kindly requested to submit their _expression_ of Interest (EoI) form by 27 February 2026 (close of Business, 18:00 CET). A selection process based on the EoIs will take place following the submission deadline. Selected participants will be informed in March 2026. Priority will be given to HEIs. Student Fair – 6 May 2026 Organiser, as part of the Study in Europe initiative: DAAD Contact: tubbesing@xxxxxxx Event focus: Enable Moldovan students, academics, students' parents, study advisors and other audiences to find out about higher education opportunities in Europe. Target audience: exhibiting at the Fair is open to European higher education institutions and national higher education promotion agencies/embassies from the 33 Erasmus+ programme countries. European University Alliances are also eligible to exhibit at the event. For more information and to register, please follow this link.
