Dear colleagues,

The TALOS Lab is pleased to invite you to the 7th TALOS Hybrid PhD Meeting, part of the TALOS AI4SSH Doctoral Seminars.

This meeting offers a forum for our PhD candidates and researchers to present ongoing work and discuss methodological questions bridging digital humanities, AI, literature, and archaeology. Topics will include imperfect data in the Digital Humanities, ont(otermin)ologies and iconographic metadata, the encoding of nineteenth-century Ionian prose fiction for Natural Language Processing, and the transformation of curriculum texts into formal ontologies.

Following the PhD presentations, the programme will feature a guest lecture by Dr. Rita Tegon, titled: "From Archaic Epic to Video Games: Mapping the Transmedial Endurance of the Herakles Myth through Computational Mythography".
